A payroll department for your practice
Payroll is deadline-driven, legislation-heavy and rarely the most profitable work in an accountancy practice. Many accountants and bookkeepers would rather spend their time on advisory work. Buffalo Payroll acts as your outsourced payroll department, so your clients get a reliable payroll service and your team gets its time back.
What our partner service includes
- Unlimited employers and employees under one partner relationship
- Highly competitive trade rates for accountancy and bookkeeping practices
- Dedicated phone and email support for you and your clients
- All PAYE returns filed with HMRC, plus EPS, P60s and year-end
- Discounted pension administration for unlimited employees
- Integration with leading accounting platforms, so payroll journals reach your books cleanly
- CIS returns and P11Ds for clients who need them
How it works for your practice
- Agree your rates. We'll quote a trade rate based on your client volume.
- Refer or migrate clients. We onboard each client, import year-to-date figures and set up pensions.
- We run payroll every period and keep you in the loop with reports for your records.
- You stay the trusted adviser, with payroll handled by a team who live and breathe it.
Ready for April 2027
From April 2027, company cars, fuel, vans and medical benefits must be reported through payroll rather than on P11Ds. Your clients will need payroll set up to handle this well before the tax year starts. We're preparing our clients now. Read our guide to payrolling benefits in kind.
Who runs your clients' payroll
Buffalo Payroll is led by founder Becky Cooper, who holds the CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management, supported by a small dedicated payroll team based in Manchester.
